El Rincon de Nadia sits quietly on Av. de Ramón y Cajal, offering a slice of Ukrainian hospitality in the heart of Alicante. This small coffee shop and takeout spot doubles as a casual Ukrainian restaurant, making it a subtle alternative to the area's more tourist-heavy cafes. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, with a somewhat eclectic interior that transports you, in a way, to Eastern Europe more than to Spain.

Locals and curious food lovers come here not just for a quick coffee but to enjoy something different—a chance to try authentic Ukrainian dishes and homemade-style food in a relaxed setting. It’s the kind of place where you might find yourself lingering over a freshly brewed coffee, munching on popcorn (a quirky but appreciated snack here), or sampling traditional meals like borscht or syrnyky when offered. The takeaway option works well for those passing through the neighborhood wanting a familiar, hearty meal to go.

Outdoor seating on the pavement is a quiet spot to settle in, especially on milder afternoons, where the rhythm of daily Alicante life hums gently around you. The friendliness of the staff adds to the experience, making it feel more like visiting a neighbor’s place than a typical restaurant. The WiFi being shared openly (with a nod to the place's roots) invites both locals and visitors to pause, connect, or get some work done while enjoying their food or drink.

Overall, El Rincon de Nadia fits best for anyone curious about Eastern European flavors or those who appreciate a genuine, down-to-earth café with a story behind it. It feels especially inviting during quiet daytime hours when the pace is slower, and you can settle in with a coffee or a casual meal without the usual rush.

Loved this place! Skip all the tourist places up the road and come here. She is a local via Ukraine so support local! Get a forty and sit out front. Ask for popcorn. Ask for the wifi code, actually, it's Ucrania2023$ . Sit here, drink here, eat here.

Nice place to try Ukrainian cuisine, you can buy some things for home or sit down and have a meal / coffee and dessert. Friendly staff and yummy food, tried syrnyky and they were great.

Very cozy place with traditional Eastern Europe service(in the good sense :D) Real time machine. Looks strange inside, but food is good. I took borscht and dumplings and it was tasty, home made like I know. I recommend this place, don’t see to interior, just try food and you won’t be sorry

Warm welcome and great service. The place doesn't look like much from the outside even a bit sketchy but food is decent and lovely made. Most of all it remains open late in the evening. Be curious and stop for a drink or a tapas. I do recommend.
